Clint Haggard presents music, crafts and food

Free admission and performances!

To honor and celebrate the history of Plano, Clint Haggard is proud to invite the citizens of Plano and North Texas to a Heritage Afternoon in the Park on October 24 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Meet traditional artisans as they practice their crafts. Enjoy performances by local bluegrass favorites Bluestem Grass and Mill Creek. Other performers will include square dancing by the North Texas Traditional Dance Group and others. Children’s activities include cane pole fishing and a roping pen. Explore downtown with a Victorian Wedding Heritage walking tour. Food plates will be available for purchase from local vendors. The event will be held at Haggard Park in downtown Plano and is free to the public.

Clint Haggard’s Heritage Afternoon in the Park is designed to celebrate the history of the Collin County region and the pioneer spirit of its original citizens. The event also hopes to provide a fun educational environment to the community. Clint Haggard’s Heritage Afternoon in the Park will provide a safe and enjoyable time for local families.

The Heritage Afternoon in the Park is hosted by Clint Haggard in partnership with the Blackland Prairie Festival Committee.
